Chef Nobu Matsuhisa is due to open a Nobu hotel in London Shoreditch this June, in a five-story building featuring a 240-seat Nobu restaurant, 150 rooms and a private garden.
After the realisation of Nobu hotels inside the Caesars Palace Las Vegas and the Eden Roc Miami Beach, this is the first Nobu hotel in Europe.
The hotel has an angular shape, concrete balconies and a façade of printed, layered glass that is highly reflective, allowing light in while ensuring privacy. The hotel’s interior design is Japanese-inspired.
The triple-height restaurant will be the hotel’s centre and offer Nobu Matsuhisa’s famed Japanese cuisine with on the menu, as well as the classics, unique plates inspired by the creativity and vibrancy of the hotel’s local area.
