On a Quest for Best Value Wine
We recently made a trip to Spain and passed through the town of Logroño, the capital of the province of La Rioja, where some of the world’s best wines are produced.
We had heard about the bodega producing, according to reputed wine guide ‘Guía Peñín’ 2017, a vino tinto that is the best value with regards to price and quality; Infinitus Tempranillo.
Cosecheros y Criadores is one of five wineries owned by one of the historic wine making families in Rioja, Familia Martínez Bujanda. Their Infinitus Tempranillo is part of the Infinitus range; “a modern and avant-garde range of wine, with a wide selection of grapes for consumers open to new trends, with a colourful and daring design.”
It was very interesting to meet the people at the bodega and try the Infinitus Tempranillo. One reads so many wine reviews, and you do not always agree with wine critics but this one definitely lived up to expectation.
