From 15 November until 4 January, Paris lives up to its reputation as the City of Light, with Christmas markets popping up in the French Capital’s most enigmatic places.
Avenue des Champs-Elysees is transformed into a brightly lit magical winter wonderland! Under the festive lights and decorated trees, you will find more than a hundred wooden chalets, where stall-holders sell arts and crafts and specialties from various regions of France and other Christmas delicacies from all around Europe.
A very similar and equally stunning Christmas market is held at Trocadero with another hundred wooden chalets leading up to the Eiffel Tower.
Free shows are held at the market every day, and Santa Claus will be there in person, delighting young and old alike.
